Dialogic® PowerMedia™ Host Media Processing Software (PowerMedia HMP) performs media processing tasks on general-purpose servers without the use of specialized hardware. PowerMedia HMP provides media services that can be used to build flexible, scalable, and cost-effective next-generation IP media servers.

2Enabling PowerMedia HMP

Once you have installed your copy of PowerMedia HMP, you will see that one port is automatically enabled. The next step is to obtain a license, and you have two options:

  • Purchase a production license to permanently enable one of the configurations listed below by contacting a Dialogic authorized distributor or your Dialogic account manager.
  • Enable PowerMedia HMP with a demo license

 

Licensing Information

PowerMedia HMP Linux (HMP4.1) and HMP Windows (HMP3.0) are licensed and deployed in customized "packages" of call control and media processing resources. Once you have identified the resources you need, find the Part Name for each resource in the tables below and use it when ordering.

*Using the AMR-NB resource in connection with Dialogic’s PowerMedia™ HMP for Linux product does not grant the right to practice the AMR-NB standard.
