Recognized for innovation in mobile backhaul and cloud-based media processing software solutions for service providers and enterprises
Milpitas, CA – January 10, 2012 – Dialogic Inc. (NASDAQ: DLGC), today announced that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has named Dialogic® PowerMedia™ Host Media Processing Software Release 5.0 (PowerMedia HMP 5.0) and the Dialogic® I-Gate® 4000 Session Bandwidth Optimizer Mobile Backhaul (I-Gate 4000 SBO MB) as recipients of the 2011 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award.
Dialogic’s PowerMedia HMP 5.0 has the ability to scale up to 5,000 simultaneous SIP connections or 1,500 voice sessions. It provides for HD voice and video play/record, conferencing, multimedia streaming, transcoding, automated interactive audio and video solutions (IVR and IVVR), and high-end live interaction applications, such as contact centers and video portals. It also supports virtualization and runs on general-purpose servers without the need for specialized hardware, thereby reducing the total cost of ownership.
Dialogic’s I-Gate 4000 SBO-MB allows service providers to leverage existing network infrastructure, positioning them to quickly and cost-effectively double the bandwidth in the typical Radio Access Network (RAN). This enables the product to help providers improve their customer experience and, in turn, their ability to increase their subscriber base in order to enhance both short and long-term growth.
“I am happy to grant Dialogic with two Product of the Year Awards to recognize outstanding products within its portfolio. The editors of INTERNET TELEPHONY have verified that the I-Gate 4000 SBO MB and PowerMedia HMP 5.0 products not only display quality and innovation, but also address a real need in the marketplace,” stated Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “I would like to congratulate the entire team at Dialogic for their commitment to advancing IP communication technologies.”
“Dialogic continues to address the most critical issues that service providers and enterprises face today, as evidenced by our award-winning solutions,” said Jim Machi, senior vice president of marketing at Dialogic. “It is an honor to be recognized by Internet Telephony for a Product of the Year Award – not once, but twice. It truly validates the impact both products have had on the network communications industry.”
