Media Interactive and Oracle Win with WebRTC on PowerMedia XMS ™
PARSIPPANY, N.J., April 23, 2015-- Dialogic, a global networking software and infrastructure solution provider, today announced the winners who built WebRTC applications on Dialogic® PowerMedia XMS ™ at TADHAcks-mini London held April 12-15, 2015.
The winning team was Mirko Orehek and Roman Ursic from Media Interactive (http://www.mediainteractive.tv/en/), who demonstrated their MiTv eLearning video management application built on PowerMedia XMS. The application uses such features as video conferencing for WebRTC and SIP client, centralized recording with immediate playback, screenshare, blackboard capabilities, and much more. Media Interactive was chosen because of their display of incorporating server side processing into a WebRTC platform that pushed beyond typical peer-to-peer functionality. Honorable mention was awarded to Andrey Zakharchenko of Oracle, who built a WebRTC Computer Vision application using a mash-up of PowerMedia XMS, Oracle Communication WebRTC Session Controller and OpenCV for facial recognition.
