Internet of Things (IoT) refers to identifiable objects and their virtual representation in an Internet-like structure. The term is commonly used to signify advanced connectivity between everyday objects such as appliances and devices, systems and services that go beyond machine-to-machine communications, and covers a variety of protocols, domains and applications.
