Dialogic also Exhibiting and Presenting at the Digium Asterisk World Pavilion and Presenting at the Ingate SIP Trunking Seminar
WHO: James Rafferty, director of gateway product management at Dialogic Corporation ("Dialogic"), a global provider of world-class products and technologies for multimedia and signal processing, Robert Logan, director of Dialogic® Media Labs, a division of Dialogic Corporation that develops advanced video algorithms for the next generation of IP video platforms and applications, and Jeff Dworkin, enterprise marketing manager at Dialogic, have been selected to participate at ITEXPO East 2010 being held January 20-22, 2010 in Miami, FL.
Additionally, Joe Mele, vice president of Dialogic Media Labs, will be participating on a panel at the collocated 4GWE Conference.
WHAT: Rafferty's first panel, "Delivering Superior Voice with HD Codecs," will discuss how wideband codec support is being built into handsets, gateways, and other network equipment; the processing ramifications of using G.722 codecs; the complexities of developing and delivering HD VoIP, and how HD-enabled products can enhance the value of communications.
Rafferty will also participate on "The Impact of Web 2.0 on the Telco Space" panel, which will focus on how Web-based services have changed customers' expectations and how telcos are now responding to those changes with open innovation. The panelists will discuss what telcos must do to embrace and adopt open innovation and how they can work with application developers to deliver increased customer value.
Logan's panel, "The Mobile Video Revolution," will provide an overview of various video telephony opportunities in mobile, from consumer-based services like video ringback tones and entertainment services to next generation business applications such as video blogging and conferencing.
Mele's panel at the 4GWE Conference, "The Future of Mobile Video," will examine the demand for wireless video applications and whether or not 4G technology will make real-time, two-way video a common element in day to day communications.
Dialogic will also be exhibiting in booth D10 at the collocated Digium Asterisk World. It will be presenting the video capabilities of its' latest release of the DiaStarTM Server, which allows Asterisk developers to access a variety of enhanced features and brings a new level of reliability, redundancy and scalability to Asterisk projects.

"The Impact of Web 2.0 on the Telco Space" panel will take place on the 21st from 1:00-1:45pm. "The Mobile Video Revolution" panel will be held on Friday, January 22nd from 9:30-10:15am. "The Future of Mobile Video" panel will take place on January 21st from at 1:00 - 2:15pm.
Dialogic will have a live demo in the Digium Asterisk World Pavilion Presentation Theatre on Friday, January 22nd at 2pm, presented by Jeff Dworkin, enterprise marketing manager at Dialogic. The demo will focus on converting an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system into an easy to use, Interactive Voice and Video Response system that overcomes limitations inherent to IVR systems.
Dialogic is also sponsoring and presenting "Legacy PBX/PSTN and SIP Trunking" at Ingate Systems' SIP Trunk Summit, which will be held on January 21st at 11:00 am in Room A108/109 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. There, Dialogic® Enterprise Gateway Manager Vince Connors will discuss the opportunities presented by, and technical strategies related to SIP trunking with a legacy PBX/PSTN. Dialogic will also announce a new enterprise border element designed to connect virtually any SIP trunk with virtually any PBX incorporating the award-winning SIP Trunking software module from Ingate.
