WHO: James Rafferty, director of gateway product management, and Jeff Dworkin, enterprise product/segment marketing manager at Dialogic Corporation, a global provider of world-class products and technologies for multimedia and signal processing, have been selected to speak at the 2010 ClueCon Telephony Developers Conference.
WHAT: Video is becoming the hottest topic in the communications sector but the challenge remains to develop a model to monetize video on both the carrier side and at the enterprise level. Dworkin's session, "IVVR and Video-Enablement, New Opportunities for the Telephony Developer," will demonstrate how and where the proper application of video can address these needs.
Freeswitch offers robust support for a variety of SIP based services, but many subscribers are still tied to circuit-switched or non-SIP IP networks not only for connectivity, but for services. Integration of Freeswitch with a sophisticated integrated gateway can change that. Rafferty's session, "On the Network Edge: Extending the Reach of Freeswitch," will address key requirements for integrating a gateway with Freeswitch and will explore various use cases.
