WHO: Bud Walder, enterprise marketing director, and Jitendra Shekhawat, technical marketing engineer, of Dialogic Inc. (NASDAQ: DLGC), a global provider of products and technology that ease the transition from TDM to all-IP environments.
WHAT: Over the past decade, the move to VoIP in the enterprise has generally been focused on the IP-PBX and VoIP networking across private enterprise IP networks. As that adoption has flourished, enterprise IT departments are looking outward for VoIP services and technologies that can yield similar benefits. At IIT's Annual VoIP Conference and Expo, Walder will be speaking on "Six Deployment Considerations at the Network Edge," which will explore the areas of consideration that may need to be addressed in the process to help realize a smooth deployment of VoIP services such as SIP Trunking.
Additionally, Walder will be participating on a panel entitled "The V in VoIP is Video," which will offer a variety of perspectives on how suppliers and operators can deploy and monetize video calling and will also discuss the steps to create ubiquitous and interoperable solutions.
Shekhawat will be speaking on "Integrating Web Centric Media Processing." His session will provide a brief overview of the media server market, depicting its evolution from telco-centric to Web-centric media server usage, and will proceed with a review of Web-based service use cases and how Dialogic's PowerMediaTM media server products with RESTful APIs enable web developers to more easily add voice and video to their applications.
