Sanjay Singh, Vice President and General Manager of Dialogic India, examines new innovative drivers for the future growth of mobile value-added services in India
San Jose, CA - 29 June, 2011- Dialogic Inc. (NASDAQ: DLGC), a leading provider of communications technologies that power advanced networks, today announced that Sanjay Singh, Vice President and General Manager of Dialogic India, will speak on "New Innovative Drivers for the Future Growth of Mobile Value-Added Services (MVAS) in India" on Friday, 8 July at the VAS Asia 2011 Conference and Exhibition.
With the exponential growth of smartphone use in India, there is a rising demand for MVAS. In this presentation, Singh will explore this trend and discuss how it represents a unique opportunity for mobile operators to increase customer offerings and create new revenue opportunities. He will also delve into the differences between consumer and business-oriented MVAS, taking a look at the success of mobile services focused on personalization as well as the next-generation of applications like mobile video.
The emergence of MVAS comes at a time when Dialogic is expanding its own communications platforms and technology, particularly within the Asia Pacific region. In late 2010, the company opened a video design and development center in Noida, India. The center has enabled Dialogic to advance its capabilities in the rapidly growing markets of video content adaptation, video streaming and video analytics that will drive future services in these areas.
"This is our fifth year supporting VAS Asia, and we are excited to demonstrate our expertise in mobile value-added services to a growing audience," said Kevin Cook, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Dialogic. "Not only does the event tie in well with our emphasis on mobile value-added services, and particularly video services, but it also demonstrates our strong commitment to the Asia Pacific region. We are well-positioned to continue expanding our presence and fueling our customers in this region with innovative mobile value-added services."
Singh's presentation will take place on 8 July at 11:30 a.m. at the Le Meridien Hotel, New Delhi.
Dialogic will also be exhibiting at VAS Asia 2011, booth #2. Please contact marketing.asia@dialogic.com if you would like to schedule a meeting with Dialogic at this event.
