API Messages

The following messages are used for queries and alarms.

 

 

 

 

Queries

Generic Card Query 0x0123

Use this message to query the configuration of the DSP Series 2 card for NFS, alarms, statistics, and card-level defaults.

Statistics Query 0x0121

Use this message to query cache and function usage statistics on the DSP Series 2 card.

System Configuration Query

Use this message to query various configuration settings in the CSP, including the following for DSP:

0x04 - Active Conference IDs

0x07 - Resource Threshold

0x09 - Resource Usage Reporting

0x10 - Detailed Conference Information

0x11 - DSP Resource Threshold

0x13 - Conference Speakers

0x14 - Conferencing Features

0x15 Child Conference Information

0x16 Child Conference IDs

 

System Resource Usage Query

Use this message to query the following conferencing resource utilization information:
- Timeslots in use
- Timeslots available
- Percent used

 

Generic Report

This message is generated in response to the following DSP Query Types sent in the System Configuration Query message:

0x04 - Active Conference IDs

0x0A - Resource Usage

0x10 - Detailed Conference Information

0x13 - Conference Speakers

0x14 - Conferencing Features

0x15 - Child Conference Information

0x16 - Child Conference IDs

 

 

Tone Query 0x005A

Use this message to query the transmit and receive tones assigned to a DSP, as well as the frequency and power levels of the tones.

 

Call Progress Analysis Configuration Query 0x008A

Use this message to query call progress analysis (CPA) configuration information.

 

Transmit Cadence Pattern Query 0x0059

Use this message to query any of the configured transmit cadence parameters.

 

Card Status Query 0x0083

Use this message to query the number of DSP modules and their function types configured on the DSP Series 2 cards.

You can address the Card Status Query message to the I/O slot behind the DSP Series 2 cards. The following are possible results:

If the Multi-Function Media I/O card is present, the Card Type contains 0xCA.

If the Multi-Function Media I/O Plus card is present, the Card Type contains 0x92.

If an illegal I/O card is present the Card Type is 0xAA.

If no I/O card is present the CSP nacked the message with status 0x61-Invalid Slot

 

 

General

Alarm 0x00B9

This message is sent by the CSP to indicate alarm conditions on the DSP Series 2 card.

Card Status Report 0x00A6

This message is sent by the CSP platform to report the number of DSP modules and their function types configured on the DSP card.
