This user guide describes how to install the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Agent for use with EXS SwitchKit. It also describes notifications specific to the CSP that are sent from the CSP via SNMP to the destination host. The CSP SNMP Agent was developed using the SNMP Research EmanateÒ Subagent Development Kit, a product of SNMP Research International, Incorporated (SRI).
Important! In some instances, output from SRI tools refers to notifications as traps.
