DS3 Cable Assembly - Part No. 64-0124-00
The DS3 cable assembly supports the DS3 I/O and DS3 Standby I/O cards to deliver N+1 redundancy or when connecting a DS3 I/O card directly to the network. Two DS3 cable assemblies are shipped with each DS3 I/O card.

The DS3 cable assemblies must be connected as shown in the diagram below. Refer to the CAUTION and connection diagram below.
Always use the supplied DS3 cable assemblies when connecting the DS3 I/O card and a DS3 Standby I/O card for redundancy or when connecting a DS3 I/O card directly to the network. Using other cablesmay damage the connectors on the DS3 I/O and Standby I/O cards and cause a failure or intermittent operation.
Important! Always connect Transmit (TX) port to Transmit port, and Receive (RX) port to Receive port. The Transmit port is always above the Receive port.
