L3P CIC PPL Configuration Bytes (ANSI)

See Important ISUP PPL Information for an explanation of config byte mapping for L3P CIC.

You can modify the parameters for Config Bytes 1-7, but you cannot move them to other byte locations. Other functions in the system access these parameters.

ANSI T1.113-1995 indicates the potential presence of an optional parameter called "circuit assignment map" in both Group Reset (GRS) and Group Reset Acknowledgement (GRA) messages. A pointer to optional parameters must be included in all ISUP messages that can contain an optional parameter.By default, the CSP adds this pointer. When connecting to network devices that are using the Pre-1995 format of the GRS / GRA messages, the presence of the pointer can cause problems. In order to not include the pointer on a per CIC basis, set this configuration byte to 0x00.

Send RFS to host before incoming continuity result is received and connect loopback without OOS. In this case, the host should not try to send any other call processing API on the circuit where an incoming continuity check is being performed, until the continuity check results are received in the form of PPL Event Indication.
