This is what the ISDN world calls 'DID' or 'DNIS'. Normally the last 4 digits of the number dialed; required for inbound routing. Please confirm with your telco or service provider the number of CPN digits it will be providing to you on inbound calls. |
NOTE:If the total number of digital channels on the Brooktrout TR1034 Fax Board(s) will not allow for all 23 B-channels to be utilized (for instance, if you are using a Brooktrout TR1034+P/E4, 8, or 16H-T1 Fax Board, where 'x' denotes number of activated channels on the board), you will need to tell to your telco or service provider which B-channels you will be using. Then, the telco or service provider will not direct traffic to B-channels that are not mapped to functioning Brooktrout TR1034 Fax Board channels. This is sometimes called a 'fractional PRI' or 'partial PRI ' line .
